Kortney
Adams has been working as an actor, director,
and teacher in Boston since 2002. She has recently
performed in the long-running hit Shear Madness at
the Charles Playhouse, as well as in productions at
Rough & Tumble, Boston
Playwrights' Theatre, Company One, the Publick Theatre,
and Wellesley Summer Theatre, where she received an
Independent Reviewers of New England Award for Best
Supporting Actress for her role as Tite in After
Mrs. Rochester. Kortney’s recent directing projects
include Othello with the MIT Shakespeare Ensemble,
Voice of Good Hope with the Theatre Cooperative, and
Ode to Askia Touré, part of the 2007 African
American Theatre Festival. Kortney will perform with
Village Theatre Project at our St. Patrick’s
Day Gala on March 16. (2/16/07)
