Ellen
Peterson
Ellen Peterson is
currently understudying the role of Demeter in Huntington
Theatre Company’s
production of Persephone, where she also understudied
for Rabbit Hole and The Cherry Orchard. Recent
work includes performing in The Grapes of Wrath at
Stoneham Theatre, and portraying Miss Flannery in Thoroughly
Modern Millie in NC, a role she was asked
to recreate from July’s production with Waltham’s
Reagle Players. She will next appear in Parade at
Boston’s SpeakEasy Stage Co in May. Ellen has a BA
in Theater and a Masters in Education, teaches dance at
Jeanette Neill’s Studio, and choreographed and Assistant
Directed our Young Company’s A Christmas Carol. Her
favorite off-stage role is that of “Mary Poppins” to
Caleb and Millie Chew. (3/24/07)
