Shawn
Sturnick is a playwright, lyricist, actor and budding
marine biologist. His play, Better Off Dead, was Village
Theatre's first full production. His lyrics have been
heard in Centastage's Boston Sings Boston: Redux. And
he has acted with many Boston area companies, including
Blue Man Group (the one on the right), Shear Madness,
Súgán Theatre, Worcester Foothills, The
Market Theatre, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre, New
Repertory Theatre, Stoneham Theatre, and Vineyard Playhouse.
He has performed Off-Broadway at the Mint Theatre and
Abington Theatre. And he has worked regionally at Syracuse
Stage, Delaware Theatre Company, Theatreworks/USA, Burning
Coal Theatre, Imago Theatre, and Contemporary Stage Company
with Tony winner, Richard Easton. Shawn received his
MFA from New York University. (6/8/06)
